Registration and Refund Policies
Cancellation policy:
Participants who cancel their registration at least 2 weeks before an event are eligible for a 100% credit toward a future Nehirim event. Participants who cancel within the last two weeks prior to an event can receive a 100% credit toward a future retreat, IF another participant registers in their stead. (After that time, we will have already paid for your participation (food, programming, etc.)–we lose that money unless another participant takes your place.)
Publicity release:
Nehirim: GLBT Jewish Culture and Spirituality, and its officers, agents, or employees, may take photographs, audio, and/or videotapes of you individually or with others and may use such images (but not your name) in a news release, website, or other publicity material. By checking the box below, you grant such permission without compensation or royalty, and relinquish, in part, any right, title or interest in such photographs, audio, and/or videotapes and grant to Nehirim the right to use them as provided herein, UNLESS WE RECEIVE NOTICE FROM YOU IN WRITING requesting that we do not use photographs, audio, or video recordings of you. If you wish to request that we DO NOT use these materials, please email us at info@nehirim.org, with “PHOTO CONSENT” as the subject line, and make sure that you receive a confirmation notice stating that we have received your request. Your privacy and confidentiality are of the utmost importance to us.
Confidentiality and photography policy:
Some Nehirim event attendees may not be out as GLBT in their daily lives, or may have other important reasons for keeping their attendance at Nehirim events confidential. Please use your discretion and respect other attendees’ confidentiality. In particular, by checking the box below you are affirming that you WILL NOT POST OR DISTRIBUTE PHOTOGRAPHS or audio/videorecordings of other attendees publicly unless you have the EXPLICIT permission of every attendee represented therein. This includes online on flickr, Facebook, MySpace, and similar sites, as well as anywhere else in which photographs and other representations are publicly available.
