Ma'agal:
The Nehirim Womens' Circle
Third Monday of Every Month, 7:30pm
The JCC of Manhattan



Maagal: The Nehirim Womens' Circle is a new support group for Jewish women facing questions of sexuality, gender, and religion. The group is primarily oriented toward lesbians but all women are invited to participate. Each meeting will be facilitated by Chani Getter, and includes sharing and discussion. Most meetings will also feature a guest speaker. Confidentiality, support, and compassionate listening are central values. The group will meet the third Monday of every month at the JCC in Manhattan at 7:30pm.

The first meeting of the group took place on August 20 and was a full and heartful success. Please join us at one of these upcoming meetings:

March 17, 2008

No Maagal meeting in April due to Passover

May 19, 2008

June 16, 2008. Film will be shown.
