We recognize that Nehirim retreats can be expensive — particularly for students and those in financial need.­­­  We have policies in place to lessen the impact of these expenses.

Financial Aid

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Nehirim offers financial aid to all of its retreats.­­­  Click here for our financial aid policy, and to complete our simple financial aid application online (it takes five minutes).

“Shmita” Discount Program for Long-Term Participants

Nehirim loves you — especially those of you whom we get to see retreat after retreat.­­­  If you pay full price for six retreats/shabbatonim, you get your seventh one free!­­­ ­­­  Just like the Biblical sabbatical (shmita) of sowing your fields for six years and having the seventh year off, after you pay full price for six retreats, the seventh “year” is free.­­­  Please be sure to tell us when your seventh paid retreat is approaching; we’ll check the records, and the retreat is on us.

Cancellation policy

Nehirim has a generous cancellation policy.­­­  Participants who cancel their registration more than 2 weeks before an event are eligible for a 100% credit toward a future Nehirim event. ­­­ Participants who cancel within the last two weeks prior to an event can receive a 100% credit toward a future retreat IF our total number of registrants increases after the cancellation (i.e. if we won’t lose money on you). ­­­ If the total number does not increase, unfortunately the retreat cost is nonrefundable.
