Nehirim­­­ is an independent, grass-roots organization incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. ­­­ Make no mistake: we depend on the generosity of people just like you to build community for LGBT Jews and promote a more just and inclusive world based on the teachings of the Jewish tradition. ­­­ Ours is a community sustained by volunteers, lay leaders, and teachers who donate their time to us.

Donations to Nehirim are fully tax-deductible, and go entirely to the activities of the organization. Individual donations have a very real impact. For $180, you can enable a student or someone in need of financial assistance to attend a Nehirim retreat. For $90, you can sponsor a monthly mailing (please email any dedication information to info@nehirim.org). And for $36, you can sponsor a meeting of Ma’agal, the Nehirim Jewish Womens Group. Smaller amounts also help us with our ongoing administrative costs. Any amount helps, and we thank you sincerely for your generosity.
