The Ride, Housing, and Parent Board
We provide this message board to enable you to connect with other Nehirim participants around retreat logistics. This board is mainly meant to help with three topics: Rides to and from a retreat or event, housing for the urban shabbatons, and childcare assistance.
For everyone's convenience, your subject lines should use the format Event>Topic: Specific Need or Question
Examples are "2010Gathering>Ride: Offering ride to/from NYC" or "NehirimEast>Parent: Seeking childcare swap" or "QSDC>Housing: Looking for a host or hotel share"
Topics:
"Ride"
For people who need rides, people who can offer rides, and people who want to share taxi fares or meet up on public transportation.
"Housing"
Specify this for shared lodging at our urban shabbatonim. For people who need to be hosted, people who can host, and people who would like to share hotel and hostel rooms.
"Parent"
For parents to collaborate on childcare. Here you will find parents who want to share babysitters, and parents who are willing to take turns with other parents to watch each other's children.
