After the Flood, the Rainbow:
A Healing Service for Gay and Lesbian Jews
and the Conservative Movement
Monday, February 19, 2007, 7pm
The JCC of Manhattan

Join faculty members of Nehirim: GLBT Jewish Spirituality and Culture and Keshet, JTS's student and faculty GLBT advocacy group, for an informal evening of ritual, healing, and talking about gays and lesbians and the Conservative movement. Many in the GLBT community have felt wounded by the Conservative movement over the last several years, and many Conservative Jews have felt a sense of disconnect or even despair in the wake of the recent debates about homosexuality. This evening will not be a debate about the issues. Rather, it will be 90 minutes of stories, song, and ritual to begin the healing process for gay Jews, conservative Jews, and their friends.

Cost: Free
Location: The JCC in Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave. at 76th St. (Program room assignments will be available at the JCC Customer Service Desk, in the lobby of the Samuel Priest Rose Building.)
