Nehirim is best known for its weekend retreats ÂÂÂâ€” transformative, fun and inclusive weekends of LGBT Jewish community and spirituality. All kinds of people come to Nehirim retreats: religious, secular, queer, straight allies, Jewish, non-Jewish partners and families, and people of all different sexual orientations, gender identities, economic backgrounds, ethnic backgrounds, and ages. NehirimÂ Closing Its Doors This December
NehirimÂ Chair Corey Friedlander, May 2015: “After months of consulting with organizational development professionals,Â we concluded that while Nehirim programming has a strong future, Nehirim as an organization is no longer necessary.â€ť Nehirim’s future is detailed here.
