Retreats and Programs

Nehirim is best known for its weekend retreats ­­­— transformative, fun and inclusive weekends of LGBT Jewish community and spirituality. All kinds of people come to Nehirim retreats: religious, secular, queer, straight allies, Jewish, non-Jewish partners and families, and people of all different sexual orientations, gender identities, economic backgrounds, ethnic backgrounds, and ages. Nehirim Hires New Executive Director

Nehirim is proud to announce the hiring of our new executive director, Rabbi Debra Kolodny. Deb brings to Nehirim over thirty years of local and national leadership in LGBT organizations, including serving as National Coordinator of BiNet USA, Facilitator of NGLTF’s National Religious Leadership Roundtable, and the Executive Director of ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal.
